Growing up in Montana, where the Montana mullet once prevailed, music inspired and focused me; that and my love of skiing and being with friends. I studied at Berklee College of music in Boston, where I went from being the big fish in the small Montana pond, to the very small fish in the big pond. This quickly accelerated my Musical growth and provided ample humble pie.
San Francisco called, so off I went, where I had a pretty righteous professional music career, sharing the stage with notable artists Ben Harper, Phil Lesh, Bob Weir, Huey Lewis, Burt Bacharach, Blues Traveller, Train, Toots and the Maytals, and others, including touring nationally and internationally.
Now settled in Seattle since 2004, with my beautiful wife and amazing nine-year-old son, music remains an integral part of my life, and Real Estate pays the bills and feeds the soul (I like helping people!). Skiing is still a driving force, being outdoors, exercising, spending time making music, and being with family and friends is still my jam. Current music projects obviously include killing it with The Scrunchies, as well as playing in Henry Fields and the Electric Yes, mostly in Portland and Hood River. My family is #1, and that includes our furry family members.
